AMBER

Founder & Head Coach

Amber, the founder of Amber's Fitness Lab, grew her interest in fitness during her employment at a hospital. This role highlighted the value of mobility, flexibility, strength, and balance in the lives of everyday members of her community.

Heavily inspired by her experience in the healthcare industry, she understands that fitness is important for all who desire to live a better quality of life — not just athletes.

As a naturally introverted person, Amber built this space with deep intention — a place where you don't need to be loud or outgoing to belong. She understands what it means to show up quietly, put in the work, and let the results speak.

Amber's dedication to creating an inclusive, supportive, and welcoming environment has developed into a thriving community of South Bend, Mishawaka, Elkhart, and Granger residents — as well as professors and students from the University of Notre Dame — all working toward a stronger mind and body.

Her Personal Journey

FROM BODY DYSMORPHIA TO HER OWN BODY GOALS

As a teenager, Amber struggled with body dysmorphia — a deeply personal battle that shaped how she thought about her body and her relationship with fitness. The mistakes she made early in her fitness journey weren't from lack of effort. They were from a lack of knowledge and understanding of how her body should and could move — and how to activate the dormant muscle groups that had never been properly engaged.

As a lifelong athlete, Amber also understands the challenge of maintaining athletic ability as the body ages. She has built a training system designed not just for peak performance, but for longevity — keeping you strong, mobile, and capable at every stage of life.

That journey taught her something she now coaches every client through: body dysmorphia and genetics don't have to dictate how comfortable you feel in your own body. You just have to be willing to get uncomfortable in the gym — and unlock parts of your body you've never used before, or haven't since childhood.

This lived experience — the struggle, the growth, the ongoing pursuit — is what makes Amber's coaching real. She is not just a trainer. She is someone who has walked the path and built a system to help others do the same.
